Five Minute Writing Prompt
Today I am taking part in the “Five Minute Writing Prompt“.
This week’s FMF writing prompt is: DEDICATE
So, here it goes:
Dedicate
What comes to mind? I always think about the question, “How dedicated are we to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and how can we make it attractive to unbelievers”.
Someone once told me that it’s very easy to receive eternal life, actually, it’s as easy as A-B-C-D!
A-B-C-D
How can this be easy? Don’t we have to work to get into Heaven? The answer would be “No”! We cannot work our way into Heaven. We are saved by Grace!
Back to the A-B-C-D:
A – Admit to God that you are a sinner;
B – Believe that Jesus Christ , God’s Son, came to earth, died on the cross to pay for your sin debt, and rose again from the dead the third day;
C – Call upon Jesus, meaning to pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and with a sincere heart ask Him to forgive you of your sins (repent), save you from hell, and come into your heart and life!;
D – Dedicate your life to Him. Ask God to show you His plan for your life, and guide you to true believers and a God honoring church for fellowship and growth.

Doing the 5 minute prompt I forgot to mention the source where I saw something with just ABC a some time ago. It’s a tract from

I changed my description a little and shortened it plus added the D. Sometimes I add an E. Sorry for not mentioning the source. I will correct that.

It is really simple to get started following Jesus, and if we are willing to dedicate ourselves to him, he gives us everything we need. Visiting from FMF#10

Me too. I came across this tract some time ago stating the ABC. I like to add D and sometimes E.
