Be of Sound Mind

Mind Frames by [Warren Henderson]

Today I would like to quote something from a book by Warren Henderson titled MIND FRAMES – Where life’s battle is won or lost – ISBN 188270194-1.

I am on page 36 and it’s been a blessing. To tell the truth I would like to quote everything I have read so far. Now this is impossible and would violate copyright for sure.

So here is a quote from page 36 which I hope will bless you as it has blessed my soul:

Quote from page 36:

“Ponder for a moment that darkest secret that you try to keep hidden from everyone else. Yes, the Lord knows all about it.” ……
“The following verses indicate God’s desire for the believer’s mind, namely that the mind be settled, sound and spiritual.”

2 Thessalonians 2:2
not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ has come.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Ephesians 2:3
among whom we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

Romans 8:6-9
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
